What a beautiful island 💚
My absolute hightlight during my 3 month stay at El Hierro was the 3 day hiking trip through El Hierro. I started in Tamaduste and hiked all the way up to the Mulle Orchilla. I followed the path of the Virgen de Los Reyes. Every 4 years the Herreños (people of El Hierro) carry the sacred ‚Virgen de los Reyes‘ from Valverde to the ‚Sanctuario de la Virgen de Los Reyes‘ all the way acroos the spectacular ridgeline. I faced all kind of weather conditions like strong rain, winds, fog, storm and sun. I felt connected to myself and to nature. I felt truly alive. I am very happy to invite you to a spectactular journey through beautiful nature, villages, weather challenges and El Hierro pure raw beauty 💚
